- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your bill or payment-source information for advertising.
- Biometric authentication is handled by your device. Billcast does not receive or store your fingerprint, face scan, or biometric template.
4. How We Use Information
- To create and secure your Billcast account.

5. Where Information Is Stored
Billcast uses a mix of local device storage and third-party services.
On your device
Bills, expenses, payout schedules, payment sources, accounts, categories, occurrence overrides, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using app storage such as SQLite and local preferences.
Appwrite
Authentication is handled through Appwrite. Appwrite may process account information such as email address, display name, authentication sessions, OAuth identity data, password recovery details, and multi-factor authentication information. Billcast also uses Appwrite for support ticket and support message features. Our Appwrite project is hosted through Appwrite's cloud infrastructure.
Netlify
Billcast uses Netlify to host static web pages such as this Privacy Policy and the password reset landing page. Netlify may process standard web request information, such as IP address, browser details, and request logs, when you visit those pages.
If you choose "Continue with Google", Google processes your sign-in according to Google's own privacy practices. Billcast receives only the information needed to create or access your Billcast account.
6. Sharing of Information
We share information only as needed to operate Billcast, provide support, comply with law, or protect the app and our users. This includes service providers such as Appwrite, Netlify, and Google when their services are used. We do not sell your personal information.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by Billcast. Account authentication is handled through Appwrite, and optional biometric lock relies on your device's secure biometric system. No app or service can guarantee perfect security, so you should keep your device, email account, Google account, and Billcast credentials secure.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
- Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, uninstall the app, or use app features that remove it.
- Account and authentication data is retained while your Billcast account exists, unless deletion is requested or required by law.
- Support tickets and messages may be retained as long as needed to provide support, keep records of requests, or meet legal and security needs.
To request account deletion, contact us at contact.crestbit@gmail.com using the email address associated with your Billcast account.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information. You can also choose not to provide optional information, although some app features may not work without the information needed for that feature.
- You can manage local bill, payout, category, and payment-source data inside the app.
- You can uninstall the app or clear app storage to remove local app data from your device.
- You can request account deletion by contacting us.
- If you signed in with Google, you can manage Google account access through your Google account settings.
10. Children's Privacy
Billcast is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Billcast, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Billcast changes. When we update it, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Billcast after an update means you accept the revised policy.
